Certified translations, what are they for?

At 9h05 we carry out certified translations, which are also recognized as sworn translations. But, what do we mean when when we say ‘certified translations?’ The answer is simple, these are translations of official documents and which, in turn, must be presented before authorities, public or private bodies, as institutions and governmental bodies or rectors, professors of universities, and managers of businesses. Namely, both for legal bodies or legal persons.

CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR PUBLIC DOCUMENTS LIKE BIRTH-CERTIFICATES, MARRIAGE ACTS, PROPERTY DOCUMENTS, BANK CERTIFICATES, ACADEMIC DEGREES, NOTARIZED DOCUMENTS, AMONG OTHERS.

To certify a translation, the translator or translation agency must testify that the translation is a faithful reflection and a literal copy of the base text. Each page has must be sealed and includes a certificate in which the credentials of the translator or agency is verified.

All the translators at 9h05 are professionals and are capable of carrying out these types of translations, which is of great value to the owners of the document. Additionally, 9h05 complies with European regulation EN 15038:2006, the objective of this regulation is to define the requirements to offer a quality service on the part of the translation agencies. It determines the central translation process and all the aspects linked to providing a service which guarantees quality.
