What is a certified translation?
These are translations that must be presented before official, public, or private authorities (examples: birth certificates, bank certificates, transcripts, etc.)
What is a technical translation?
These are informative documents with a high, medium or low technical content (examples: manuals, technical regulations, tourist pamphlets, reports, etc.)
How do I know how many words my document has?
If it is a Word document, the number of words appears in the lower left status bar.
If it is a PDF document, you can use the free website http://www.onlineocr.net, copying and pasting the text to Word.
If you still don't know how many words your document has, you can make an approximation by multiplying the number of pages by 250 words (the average number of words per page). If this is the case, we will do the word count and adjust for the fee.
When might I need my translation to be notarized?
When the document your are getting translated must be presented before public or private authorities in Ecuador, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, South Africa (etc.) and in specific cases, in some other countries.
